Day 4

Aullwood Audubon
Today we went to an Audubon in Dayton. We learned about many things here. We first went to see the some birds using our binoculars. Then we went on a hike through the woods, and visited a lake, saw some more birds, and finally a restroom break in the main building. Next we visited he farm and ate lunch. From this trip, I learned that even all of the creatures, they still depend on each other for survival. My favorite art of this experience was the farm. I really liked the farm because I liked seeing the animals and looking at how they act compared to how we act. It was truly a great experience.

This is the Contemplation that I wrote:

Imagine yourself laying down in an island isolated from the whole world. Should be calm and peaceful. No stress, no worries. The deep, crystal blue ocean is surrounding you. It is not too hot, not too cold. As you stand up and notice that the ocean is empty, and seems pretty shallow. You go into the cold water feeling even more relaxed. You can smell the saltiness of the water. The cold seaweed sticks to your body as you swim deeper and deeper. You start feeling some objects like seashells. As you get even deeper you start to see small tiny fish. You simply just pull one small fish out of the water.
You are now getting out of the water still firmly holding the fish. You go into the jungle in the middle of the island, which is surrounded by the ocean. You find some wood, and rub them against each other repeatedly, to start a fire. After you finally succeed, you cook the fish on top of the fire. You then eat the fish. You then put out the fire and walk around the jungle. You hear some birds cawing here and there. After A nice walk, you go back to where you were in the beginning and lay down. You then wake up in your comfy bed.
