Day 5

Planning a Hike
Today, the main thing that we did was plan a hike with our partner. We had to write the place, distance, number of days, the item we wanted to pack/quantity/weight, and finally we got an chance to put the total amount of weight into a backpack using weights, then try it on.
We decided to choose the Buckeye Trail because it wasn't too long and it wasn't too short.
We decided to go in the fall
We wanted to walk about 722( half of the trail) in about 92 days. So we would have to walk 7 to 8 miles per day.

These are the list of item we choose, including the quantity, and weight/total weight:

This process was very collaborative. We worked together to decided what we both needed. we had some arguments here and there, but we solved them. For example, when we deciding on whether to bring a journal or not, we were arguing about it for a while. Then we just decided to not use it, because it wouldn't be as necessary as the other items. For choosing the items, we first listed the main important things, then listed the least important things.
